Gee, what will the authorities think of this, if he kills someone?
Telling a large highlander that he's in a dress (or skirt)...
They'll probably label it suicide and be done.

You're technique is quite good, by the way. I like how you've made the background fuzzier than the foreground. It helps keep the focus on the highlander and the attempted suicides.

Have you ever tried to just continue to add details and characters? Maybe it will look cool when it is finished.

I've done some murals with quite a bit of detail in the foreground and background characters. It can look pretty good on large scale paintings like that. but even then I'd tone/cool down the backround colours to give it a feeling of distance.
